A young man suddenly emerged from behind a line of clothing. "Taking pictures is strictly forbidden. You have to delete them. Now." And then, he escorts me to the exit door.
Are we in a secret nuclear plant ? A military base ? A conspiracy meeting ?
It's a department store somewhere in Belgium.
You can buy as many cameras as you want. But don't use them...
So, Ladies and Gentlemen, please enjoy these stolen pics !

Brussels - Pink tramway

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX60, F4.2, 1/13, ISO 400
Brussels tramways differ from the French ones, for example, by the fantasy and the variety of their outside decoration.
It's very pleasant to look at.
It brightens the city landscape, and gives to the different machines a personality of their own.

Brussels - Galeries Royales St Hubert - Homework

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX60, F2.8, 1/30, ISO 320
I still wonder how this girl, wearing mauve trousers and a pale blue bonnet, was able to hold a laptop with one hand and type with the other, while staying in this uncomfortable standing position.
20 minutes later she was still there typing her memos !

Brussels - Galeries Royales St Hubert - Corné Port-Royal boutique

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX60, F2.8, 1/60, ISO 250
A shop assistant was preparing the change for my "Marrons glacés", when this couple appeared outside the storefront.
I just had time to take the camera out of my front pocket and click...
The "Intelligent Exposure" and "Auto White Balance" settings were already selected. It's a real help when one has to take a quick snapshot in mixed light conditions.

Brussels - Galeries Royales St Hubert - Godiva boutique

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX60, F4.0, 1/100, ISO 200
While I was taking pictures of this colorful Godiva shop window (famous Belgian chocolates), the saleswoman took in a cardboard pack and began to dispatch small boxes on to the shelves.
